Consultation on hate crime strategy
The key aim of a hate crime strategy is to prevent hate crime, support victims and work with the police and other partners to challenge attitudes and behaviours and bring those who commit hate crime to justice.

Hate crime targets people because of their identity and is a form of discrimination that infringes human rights and can fundamentally affect their quality of life.

Your comments and feedback on the draft strategy are invited to ensure it reflects local circumstances and will effectively address local needs.
